As 2018 is winding down. Let’s take a look at the some of the fashion accessories that we may likely not see in the fashion space come 2019.
Agree with me the fashion world enjoyed so many come back in 2018. We saw so many styles make it to the front row in the fashion world this year. Also, some styles and accessories got a boost this year, like the off shoulder trend which has been rejuvenated into a more funky and adorable piece. Some styles and accessories didn’t get enough attention needed to dominate the fashion stage this year like – the fascinators.
That being said we have carefully selected a few fashion accessories that we may likely not see come next year.
Our first pick is The Belt Bags
Well, the Belt bags dominated the world of street style with their unique appeal.
These body hug handbags add a street vibe to your style. It combines function and fashion and adds a glamorous effective touch to any outfit. Unfortunately, we may likely not see more of this style in 2019. As good as it looked not everyone enjoys the look of having a bag around their waist. Unlike the backpack, this accessory tends to steal your style effort.
Bold Platform Shoes
If you are looking for a comfortable accessory to enhance your height and probably your look. The bold platform shoes are the easy fix! Unlike the belt bags, the bold platform shoes have been around for some time now. Those thick and chunky shoes date way back to’70s and ’90s. but unfortunately, this may not return next year. With all the campaign about embracing your body shape and size, I feel most ladies are not too scared to go on flats these days. There are really nice flats that can also boost your ego and style. The Oxford boyfriend shoe is making a huge impact in a ladies style. The good thing about this pair is that there is something for everyone to wear anywhere.
Just get the right colour to suit the occasion.
Statement Earrings
Those shoulder length, loop, and very large earrings have been the must-have accessory for a very long time now, and they’re most likely not returning next year. Every fashion lover seems to enjoy the less is more look. Celebrities are even hitting red carpets with a minimal earring and still look adorable and fashionable. We don’t know for sure how quickly this will disappear from the fashion stage come next year but we are certain its use will decline massively.
The Peplum
Oh dear, we love the peplum so much! And it has been around for a very very long time. The peplum actually creates an illusion of a well-structured figure, it helps hide excess body fat mostly in the stomach area. These days oversized denim jacket, oversized polo style is here to make us feel comfortable depending on where you are going.
As much as there are numerous styles and accessories that may not return next year these are our first got to make it stop!
